Spicy Ranch Water

A twist on my favorite Ranch Water!

 
 

This Spicy Ranch Water may surprise you… an explosion of flavor in your mouth without too much of a kick! Looking for a strong punch? Just add more jalapeños.

I love a good Ranch Water and it’s definitely my go to cocktail. With that said, I have been drinking them for so long, I need something different… a twist. This Spicy Ranch Water does just that!! Still as refreshing and free of sugar but with the additional boost in flavor.

Heads up, the tequila you use in Ranch Water does make a difference in the drink. I recommend always choosing one that is made with 100% agave. My go two brands are Don Julio Blanco and Casamigos.

I give a recipe below but here is my eye ball recipe:

  1. Muddle a few slices of jalapeño in the bottom of a glass

  2. Portions I use are 2:1 tequila to lime juice - I usually start with this and add more lime if needed

  3. Add ice and stir

  4. Top with Topo Chico, club soda or sparkling mineral water and stir again

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Muddle fresh jalapeño in the bottom of a glass (6 oz glass or larger).
  2. Add lime juice and tequila to the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice, top with Topo Chico or sparkling water and stir.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge, jalapeño wedge, serve and Enjoy!

Notes:


To make a large batch or pitcher, use the portions of 2:1 (tequila to lime juice) and save the Topo Chico until serving in individual glasses.
